ECWCS Gen III Level 2 Pants — Insulated Mid-Layer for Cold Conditions
The ECWCS Gen III Level 2 thermal pants are designed as an insulating second layer, combining warmth retention with efficient moisture management. They are ideal for moderate activity or extended exposure to cold environments where the body produces less heat.
Made from advanced Polartec® Power Dry, the fabric features a dual-layer structure. The inner surface traps warmth, while the grid channels enhance airflow and moisture evaporation. Compared to cotton, it dries significantly faster and includes Odor Resistant technology to help reduce unwanted odors.
These pants can be worn alone or layered over a base layer. A thoughtfully positioned fly aligns with Level 1 garments for easy layering. The gusseted construction enhances comfort and mobility, preventing pressure at seam junctions.
Slightly shorter leg length prevents fabric overlap inside footwear, ensuring a more comfortable fit.
