5.11 Maverick Belt — a premium belt with a dual-layer design, each layer 2 mm thick, stitched in five points along the length for durability. The width of 45 mm ensures a secure and comfortable fit. A reinforced strap allows attachment of a carabiner, adding functionality. The Cobra buckle is made of 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, capable of withstanding up to 9 kN (≈918 kg). Its locking system resembles automotive seatbelt buckles: the tongue with hooks locks automatically with spring retainers, and release occurs only when both retainers are pressed simultaneously. The rounded shape of the retainers prevents accidental snagging, while the belt edge is secured with Velcro.
